Week Two of my Entrepreneurship Journey
First things first I have decided to switch to Blogger.com for my blogs. It seems to be a lot more user-friendly.
This week I learned a lot about myself by creating a bucket list of 50 items. I tried to imagine what it would be like if I were to die and what it was that I truly wanted to do in my life before that moment came. I strongly do not like writing in a journal but it was my top item on my bucket list. Not to just write in a journal but to create a journal that I am comfortable showing to my family. A journal that expresses accomplishments I have made and fun family memories. I want to be an influence for good and an example to others. Participating in this activity helped me to think more about the important goals that I have in my life rather than the more temporal goals.
I also learned a lot from a book called Launching Leaders
To sum up the things I learned. It is okay to lose your comfort blanket, it is even necessary to grow. Instant gratification will not bring happiness in the long run. Pay attention to how I feel about different career paths and respect God's timing. If you are feeling lost make a list of core values that you want to have or already do have. Treat others with respect and pay attention to how others treat you. If you are being mistreated it is likely that you will not be able to grow with this individual.
